Can You Get a Refund for Bad Botox?

There is no automatic right to a refund because you dislike the result, but many complaints about anti wrinkle injections end with a refund, a free top up or a goodwill payment when they are handled well.

Start with the clinic

Ask for a review appointment first. Many problems, such as uneven results, can be corrected at the 2 week review. If that fails, complain in writing and say what outcome you want.

What independent schemes can do

ISCAS adjudicators cannot order refunds or award compensation, but can award goodwill payments of up to £5,000.
The Cosmetic Redress Scheme does not consider dissatisfaction with results.

If the treatment caused injury, speak to a solicitor about a claim, and consider raising a concern with the practitioner's regulator.
